| GAME THREAD #6 Alabama @ North Dakota St. - Nelson’s Double-Double Lifts Tide Past North Dakota, 97-90

I'm not watching, but watching the Gamecast on ESPN and to me it seems like Sears cannot simply ever get off a last second shot at Half. Ever.

Reminds me of those auburn guards from a few years back, it was always a disaster for them in the final seconds of a half. Sears is just as bad. He thinks he's Michael Jordan and ends up looking like Michael J Fox.

The D is pitiful often this year. I don’t know if they haven’t bought in to that guy from the NBA or what. But we’ve had long stretches of NBA-looking defense.
The '21 and last seasons had roster limitations as to why they couldn't defend. There's literally no excuse for this shit. We have to bigs who should be protecting the rim better. We have length and athleticism from our guards and wings. It's on both coaching and the players.

Oats has had elite defenses. I don't know why this team won't get it together.
