It's the opposite.

There is a "vig" charge which mirrors that in Vegas, Atlantic City, overseas books, or your local guy. In this case, it's 110 bet wins 100.

The first number is the payout, the second number is the bet.

Take a look at the Alabama wins line. It's listed at 100 / 23000. So, 23000 wins 100. 46000 wins 200. It's not a good risk.

A better example of a good money line bet (betting on who wins, not the amount they win by) is the UK game this past weekend. It was listed at 100/800. I put 8000 on UK to win straight up which paid 1000.

Here's how everyone played the money line on UK winning last weekend.

If it's 100/110, you have to bet $110 to win $100 in the example above.

Positive number indicates what you'd make if you bet $100. Example +105 would mean if you bet $100, you'd get $105.
Negative number indicates how much you have to bet to win $100. Example, -105 means you have to bet $105 to win $100.

Ok. Also lets say a and m vs ball state. a and M is -30. That means that they have to win by more than 30 points for you to win the bet right....and it it 100/110 so for every 110 bucks you bet you win. 100 bucks? If so that means like a good one to bet right? Do I understand this right?

@Killer Instinct , this line opened with OU as a three point favorite and has come down from there. I am almost certain that by the end of the week OU will again be favored. If you want to bet on OU, the sooner the better. (pun intended).
