In person, eh? Here's a few off the top of my head.
Darren McFadden was the first that came to mind.
I was very impressed with Tom Brady in the Orange Bowl despite his mistakes. Their TE as wellācan't recall his name.
Peyton.
Champ Bailey.
Chad Lavalais and David Pollack- maybe the two best defensive lineman I've seen this decade in the SEC.
1) Deion Sanders - guy eliminated half the field. And the pucker factor when you kicked the ball to him was extremely high.
2) Mike Singletary (Baylor) - had around 30 tackles versus UA in an early September game in Legion Field in 1979. Would have had more but he simply wore out as the game progressed. And UA did not really take over the game until Singletary was physically unable to stop the inside rushing game without much help from the others.
3) Emmitt Smith - due to limitations recruiting, UF wisely put all their better athletes on defense during Smith's last two years so he had little to no help on offense. And he was still a beast.
4) Bo Jackson - I still wonder how fortunes would have changed if the UA staff had not been so damn arrogant when recruiting him and he signed with UA. Saw him hit some baseballs at The Joe that I think might STILL be in a low-level orbit. One cleared the big green backdrop behind the center field fence - with room to spare.
5) Tim Tebow - the kid is just a special player and leader. Reminds me of the leadership qualities of Steadman Sheely but with the athletic talent of Walter Lewis.
