Three Orange Coaches
by Braden Pace

Hearken, my children, as I tell you a tale,
Of 3 orange coaches, from the southland they hailed.
The first one was Bowden, of Clemson he came.
He challenged the Tide in their opening game.
In Atlanta, his team was shocked and dismayed
By the power and grit of the Crimson blockade.
Alas, he was fired, removed from his post
Dishonored and shamed, no longer to boast.
The second was Fulmer, shaped like a sphere,
To face Alabama, the team he most feared.
Routed so swiftly, and well past his prime,
He packed up his bags, forced to resign.
The third man was Tommy, the Tigers he led.
For six years he bested the men who wore red.
But something had changed in 2008.
Bama had chosen a quite different fate.
With powerful strength, the Tide gladly rolled
And claimed a victory in the Iron Bowl.
Tommy was humbled and soon chose to leave,
Leaving the Tigers desperate and grieved.
There were three orange coaches, filled with such pride,
But soon they were swallowed by the mighty Crimson Tide.

As time went on in 2008,
Pat Dye finally found his pants in the lake.
The barn it was burning
midst a failing coach search,
and the trailer dwelling vermin,
were made fun of at church.
In an act of desparation
A hire was made,
Barners were so excited
they came out of the shade.
Patterson, Leach, Nutt or Gill,
No matter who it was
They were sure to be thrilled.
Glad though they were
that the wingnut was gone,
Lowder and Dye wanted to hire a pawn.
The barn family was excited,
This hire would be great!
No longer would they rely,
On Bama's failure to be great.
The hire was made,
excited fans screamed WHO IS IT?
And pass out they did,
when told it was Gene Chizik.
5 and 19 was his record before,
yet somehow Jay Jacobs
did ignore that sore score.
Now the barners will flop,
during subsequent seasons,
While the Crimson Tide Rolls,
and Nick Saban will lead them.
Spin though they try,
The barn spin machine is broken
It turns out Gill's interview,
was only a token.
Barkley did blast them,
for the racists they are.
But most of the barner family,
have joined Dye at the bar.
Losers they were
and once again they will be.
and disheartened they gaze westward,
toward a great Crimson Sea.
Their program is broken,
recruiting class is a bust,
And Bama just says,
ALL YOUR RECRUITS ARE BELONG TO US.
Heard now is the story,
Told now is the tale,
Of Auburn's coaching Hire,
best called EPIC FAIL.
