📝 247 #1, Rivals #2 player visits Tuscaloosa

Looks like Justin made it to Tuscaloosa this weekend! He damn sure caught an ass whooping and hopefully enjoyed what our offense has to offer and where it'd headed under Daboll. He also saw one at Mercedes Benz as he came to see Florida State, but saw them flop and dominated by us. I had no clue he was coming to town, so of course I'm interested to see if it has given us anything to compete with Georgia, Florida State, and Auburn with. My daughter cheers for the Harrison youth program, so of course I'd love for the kid to come to Tuscaloosa and he's been a lot of fun to watch the past couple of years. Anyone have the BamaInsider subscription with any details? We have some amazing talent at the position, but this guy would be another step in an upward direction for the position as far as size and ability at 6'3 -225.

The athletic QB's have to be looking favorably toward Bama at this point... Just tough with 2 other dudes basically guaranteed of being on campus for the next 2 & 3 seasons.

On another note - I was looking at rankings recently and noticed there is a shortage in top talent in AL this year. Only like 2-3 dudes in the top 150 I think? And none super high on the list. Seems like the state usually has more...

Good news is Bama is recruiting so well nationall it doesn't matter. I just like seeing the local kids get their chance to wear Crimson and win a Championship. Seems a little more special IMO

Very positive vibes from Adam Anderson, Rivals100 defensive end from Rome High School in Georgia, and King Mwikuta, 2019 Rivals100 linebacker from Troup County High School in LaGrange, Georgia. It's possible Alabama is in the driver's seat for both.

Alabama is also in very good position with Jaylen Waddle, Rivals100 wide receiver from Episcopal High School in Houston, after the return visit.

Emory Jones, five-star quarterback from Heard County High School in Franklin, Georgia, Saivion Smith, four-star cornerback from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, Jacob Copeland, four-star wide receiver from Escambia High School in Pensacola, Coynis Miller, four-star defensive tackle from Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, and Seth Williams, four-star wide receiver from Paul W. Bryant High School in Cottondale, Alabama, were all in attendance.

I hear the visit with Jarren Williams, four-star quarterback from Central Gwinnett High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, also went very well. Keep a very close watch on Williams these next few months. I don't think this is the last time we see him in Tuscaloosa.

Emil Ekiyor, four-star offensive tackle from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, is still in Tuscaloosa. He is leaving tomorrow.

Justin Fields, five-star quarterback from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia, remains a long shot for Alabama. The general feeling in Tuscaloosa is he is looking for a place to have a good chance at starting when he arrives. Not the case in Tuscaloosa.

Of course he's looking to start, all players do. BUT, his list of leaders all have solid young incumbant quaterbacks there. Georgia, Florida State, and Auburn all have guys most likely not losing their position. Wish he'd look deeper at the program, but atleast he gave us a look!

Justyn Ross is the biggest recruit in the state this cycle. He's a five star by Rivals and #47 four star by 247.
