| RECRUIT šŸˆ 2024 Transfer Portal Thread - DB DaShawn Jones has Committed to Alabama

I like this pick-up been calling for it for a while. Didn't think we wanted the locker room issues that Nolen brings (From what I hear). I think we're done with the TAMU people for now. I haven't heard much on Evan Stewart, so starting to believe they're not interested in him.

I still really want that edge from UTSA even though predictions so far are Texas. I think he's a much more dominant player than Fadil Diggs, IMO.

With Pritchett returning I don't think we need the right OT anymore, maybe just a WR and a DB to shore up the back-end.

WR
Lahjontay Wester
Colbie Young

On WR I'd wait for playoff teams to have more enter portal and see what we can get. There's not a lot left at the WR position that excites me. I listed a few earlier but most of them are already decided and gone.

DB
AJ Harris
Nyland Green
Domani Jackson - We're interested in this guy. Michigan is also, but they're a lock for the guy from WKU so I wouldn't be surprised to see us land him.

EDGE
Trey Moore
Fadil Diggs

Fans have to get this out of their minds. It's not a school that's struggling. It's players.

I'm not discounting Riley, USC, or the like. We saw the same attrition at Bama last season.

We don't see it from our top dog recruits though. That's like Arnold transferring this year, Downs leaving, Bond leaving, or Proctor leaving. Guys down the depth chart that want playing time, which is 100% understandable. Nelson was labeled a "generational talent" out of Vegas. Foreman was said to change the culture at USC. Raleek Brown, Mario Williams, more five star guys leaving. Can't tell me it's all them as a number of them played well and started for the team.

Similar to Kyle McCord at Ohio State and Marvin Jones Jr. at Georgia. Evan Stewart, Overron, Walter Nolan at A&M. Plenty of playing time, saw success, but now leaving.

Why should I get it out of my head that it's the coach or school?

Some sites claim.. He took games ā€œoffā€ and refused practice.. may be true or just sour grapes..
Aggies fans are a rare breed, they do tend to take things on levels with a sour grape attitude usually because of Texas. When they came to the SEC their hate went more toward us. Remind me of Auburn. But Where there is smoke..... I tend to believe what you are saying here to be honest.
