It's rare that a 'regular tourney' catches my attention on a Friday. But when I saw the first 59 and then DJ making a run at a second, time stood still. (In other words, I didn't get a thing done yesterday afternoon.)

I'm of the opinion this is all between the ears with JT. Arguably, he's playing as well as the leaders, each week, from tee to green. But once he's there...

Been there, experienced that. It's a tough mental track to break.

I am not sure if he's just a poor putter or he is poor at actually reading the line. One thing is he is consistent at being average around the hole.

He may be fine at both, but hitting the ball where you want it to go as far as putting is the most difficult part. Reading the line, reading the speed, replicating your stroke, aiming, there are a ton of pieces to making a putt. Makes what Tiger always did that much more amazing.
