Raheem Falkin may be cranking up the transfer train and with spring ball so close, I do wonder, with our current numbers, how many players will have to find somewhere else to go before Jarez Parks gets his scholarship this season?

To Falkins defense, he broke his leg in Fall camp one season if I remember correctly and it was slow to heal. He the. Fell down the depth chart behind some very talented kids.

I noticed on Falkin's transfer paper that the citadel was one school he couldn't transfer to because they are on the 2018 schedule. I can see making the point with the SEC and power 5 teams on the schedule. Seems a few years ago didn't Starr Jackson transfer to Ga St. even though we played them the next season?

I noticdd this as well, and I don't feel it is necessary to keep him from a military school, if in fact that was a path he wanted to take, being a cadet. TerryP can shed a little more light on that living in Chucktown, but I don't feel that was necessary to keep him from.

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't anything more than a form letter and if Raheem seriously was considering The Citadel, then CNS would give his full blessing.

He was a good bet to jet. Kief probably stays now.

Still cannot see all RB's sticking around. Spring practice will make for great competition.

An OL... Casher, Hass, Warmack, etc?

Lots of competition in the secondary... Someone may get sour.

Yes, and not very good form. The Citadel should not have been on there. LA La is not on there and should not be. Southern Mississippi IS on there and should not be. Don't play them until 2019.

Perhaps LA La is where he is headed since it is not on the list.

Some just never can break through.....and some just need a fresh start...Kamara comes to mine...good luck to those who move on...

As soon as I saw his name I remembered a discussion we had a month ago about Falkins. His injury history is there just after your post.

Let's not forget, he's graduated. So, there's exists the possibility he's thinking graduate school (and The Citadel has a damn good one.)

The grad transfer rules(ings) change the dynamic a bit as I see this. As example, what if he was considering a GA position at one of the schools @252BAMA mentioned.

@TerryP missed on this one :poke2:

That earlier linked thread ...

I'm hearing they are seeing a different Foster right now. There was no doubt he and Kiffin didn't get along for more than one reasons--a lot justified. Since Daboll's arrival they're working on one of those "clean slate" starts.

Parks is an initial--it's a 25 issue, not an 85 problem.
