Good news for Arie Kouandjio... via http://walterfootball.com/combine2015weighinOL.php

There are some teams that believe that Alabama guard Arie Kouandjio is the best guard in the draft. Kouandjio is a good athlete with some natural strength. At the weigh-in, he checked in at 6-foot-5, 310-pounds with long 34 1/8 inch arms. Kouandjio has the strength and athleticism to be a standout in the Combine field work. Don't be surprised if Kouandjio gets some momentum out of the Combine.

Also thought this tweet was interesting.

I read an interview yesterday or this morning that a reporter did with an agent. He talked about how the combine can really turn teams off to a kid should he not test well there in Indy. It is often so bad, that the position coach for a team won't go to a University's Pro Day because said player tests bad at Indy. Refusing to let the Dr's there check isn't good. He often said that teams that want a player bad enough, will "leak" false information out there about a physical or drug test, so the teams ahead of them will skip over the player and they get him instead.

Friday Workouts
Today is specialists, offensive linemen and tight ends, meaning Alabama has two guys participating today: Arie Kouandjio and Austin Shepherd.

Austin Shepherd: Measured in at 6-4, 315 pounds. Ran a 5.42 on his first 40 attempt and a 5.40 on his second run. Bench pressed 225 pounds 17 times. Vertical jump of 29 inches. Broad jump of 94 inches. Three cone drill 8.04. Twenty-yard shuttle of 4.70.

Arie Kouandjio: Measured in at 6-5, 310 pounds. He did not bench press and did not run the 40, but he did go through drills. NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said, "He's not a great athlete, but he's got long arms and he's really powerful."

Sometimes you can't but want to slap the shit out of these analyst like Mayock, Kiper, and the other guy Kiper argues with. "He's not a great athlete"??? Well apparently he was good enough to earn a scholarship and start for one of the best programs in the history of college football. We lost four games while he started and won a Championship during his tenure. Something tells me he has to be a decent athlete to be a part of that.

LOL. The way I deal with their idiotic comments, I just ignore them.

A different perspective via http://walterfootball.com/draft2015OG.php.

1/17/15: Kouandjio excelled as a run-blocker in 2014, and Alabama had a lot of success running behind him. His pass blocking was improved over 2013, but he still has room to get better in that area of his game for the next level. Kouandjio has the physical skill set to be a quality starter and play quickly in the NFL. He has quickness, athleticism and strength.

WalterFootball.com has heard from sources that Florida State's Josue Matias and Kouandjio are grading out as the top guards (not including LSU left tackle La'el Collins). Both Matias and Kouandjio have received second-round grades.

Yeah, it's comical how all of this combine and draft garbage play out. The NFL and ESPN have just sucked the life out of a once enjoyable event. I mean, Mel Kiper Jr. Is straight business with no personality about this stuff and is almost as embarrassing to watch as Michael Scott on The Office at times. A grown man just being so serious, arrogant, and nasty towards people that are 19-23 years old. I understand it's a business, but the whole cut throat culture is killing society.

this video shows Amari Cooper, Kevin White and DeVante Parker superimposed over each other as they run their 40.

unfortunately, the commentators get the names wrong.....as you'll see in the video.
