They just released the updated poll this week, so I figured that since we're approaching the halfway mark of the season (nooooo!!!), it might be interesting to start discussing our prospects.

1. Marcus Mariota, Oregon, QB
2. Johnny Manziel, Texas A&M, QB
3. Tajh Boyd, Clemson, QB
4. Teddy Bridgewater, Louisville, QB
5. Aaron Murray, Georgia, QB
6. Jameis Winston, Florida State, QB
7. Braxton Miller, Ohio State, QB
8. Lache Seastrunk, Baylor, RB
9. Todd Gurley, Georgia, RB
10. Brett Hundley, UCLA, QB
11. Sean Mannion, Oregon State, QB
12. AJ McCarron, Alabama, QB
13. Sammy Watkins, Clemson, WR
14. Bishop Sankey, Washington, RB

No Derek Carr love?

I hope somehow, someway, AJ makes it. I know it's not likely but dang, the guy has pretty much done all you can do lol. Besides AJ, I am leaning towards Jameis Winston, the guy really came in with a bang. Granted, he has only played Pitt, Nevada, Bethne-Cookman, and BC so far .. But he's from Alabama, soo ..

Winston has already had his signature play, the Hail Mary against BC on the last play of the first half. 70+ yards in the air and right on target.

Heisman front runner at this point last season—
