Looks good!

Still need to replace a QB and judging by LSU and Auburn, that is very important. We also need reloading on our O-line as well.

I think there are two key things to remember here.

(1) Unlike Auburn or LSU, we have an experienced back-up who will be a junior and have multiple years in the "system."

(2) You used the word "reloading" well. While replacing two AA caliber players (and a 2nd team all-conference) is troublesome, again we have experienced backups - in addition to a top notch JUCO and freak of nature frosh coming in. I would dare say that had Fluker been at OT for more than one season in HS, he would be as highly regarded coming out of HS as Andre was. Fluker is a 4 star ranked #26 by position on Scout...but Rivals has him 5 star and ranked #2. Either way, he is a beast. I expect the Scout ranking to move up before NSD.

Our receiving corp will be improved, as will our RB corp. The defense will be improved overall - with or without Cody. Obviously Cody is a difference maker, but even if he leaves, we will still be very good.

I don't know that we are preseason #2, but I would say top 10 is accurate.

It looks like Houston has someone's respect.

Interesting considering the Utah just lost both Coordinators. I wonder if the pollster would rethink this one?

Way to go Vandy...Ranked, and ranked ahead of Florida State. Go figure.

1. While I am comfortable starting the year with McElroy, I would hesitate to call him an "experienced" back-up. If it was any other team, I would say it's a stretch to rank a team #2 with an unproven QB. We will know a lot more after game #1. The defense will be even better. Replacing Andre, Antoine, and Marlon on the OL...may take some games for that OL to gel.

2. I don't think Vandy is very good. I'm probably one of the few people in middle Tenn. who can't understand why Bobby Johnson continues to get a free pass because he's coaching at Vandy. Just because it's Vandy doesn't mean there should be zero expectations. Vandy should be able to schedule 4 NC wins and get 2 more in the conference and be bowl eligible most years...not one year out of every 20. He had the best QB in the country and only needed to beat MTSU at home to be bowl eligible...and couldn't do it. They laid some real eggs this year...this is the year they should have won 8 or 9. Everyone up here says Bobby Johnson is a great coach...maybe he is...but if Wake Forest can win, so can Vandy.
