thought we had bye week before auburn this year..

wish the clemson game was included in season ticket package, seeing as how it sucks again this year

Originally, we did, but UA filled the week with ULM to get a little more money. Turned out not to be worth it...

One thing I don't like about next years schedule is the fact that we play UT on the 4th Saturday in October. Over the past few years it has went back and forth between the third and 4th weeks of October. Generally when it is the 3rd Saturday we win. (this past year) When it is the 4th Saturday we lose. (last year) and the run that UT had on us was pretty much all 4th Saturdays.

If I were a betting man I would like to know this statistic b/c it doesn't bode well for us. Hopefully CNS can knock that hoobastank bad omen off b/c he has seemed to own Phatimus dating all the way back to his days at CorndogU!

that's right, it was PPV.
after all the games that were on national tv, it must have felt like a bye week WE WISH

That's the understatement of the century.

We have 8 months to prep for a solid Clemson team. Followed by two consecutive "untraditionally dangerous" opponents. That is set up to well to be a 3-0 start, assuming the team buys in.

Arkansas will be a bit of a puzzle to me, but by our week four match up I hope that CNS and his staff have a grip on Petrino's Pigs in transition.

Georgia, well, that will not be easy.

Kentucky at home is good. Following two physical weeks and a major emotional peak makes Kentucky a concern.

Ole Miss at home, and after an off week, should be a fundamentally sound win.

Tennessee on the road will be an honest measuring stick for the team at that point in the season. The record should be solid going in, so Knoxville will strongly shape the way the season will end.

Catching Ark. St. at home before LSU should be great...but them UL-M happens.

Win or Lose, the LSU game will serve notice to the country. Nationally televised, passionate crowd, and the Tide should be up to speed at that point...although still considered young within the system.

Miss State at home...CNS will have them ready.

Open week before Auburn spells trouble for Tubberville and his two first year coordinators. Tigers can sit on Number 7 and spin.

Just my first impressions.

I think this schedule is a bit attainable to be in contention next season to the west division, but Georgia on the road scares to death.

RTR,

I agree with a lot of that LBS. I like our chances right now to have a solid season.

I was thinking about this last night (with Muschamp news hitting) and it dawned on me how open this schedule is...

Consider the changes in the West, and the SEC as a whole in regard to our schedule.

Auburn, two different coordinators
LSU, different defensive coordinator.
Arkansas, new staff.
Ole Miss, new staff.
MSU, different defensive coordinator.
UT, different offensive coordinator and the majority of their offensive staff.
Kentucky, new QB, new RB...
Georgia...they have to be thinking about a second trip to a BCS game, an SECCG, and possible NC berth.

lol yeah Tider, that is an understatment . I really hope they do not fill it this year. Bama could have used that time this past season to help heal alot of injuries and lick their wounds a little.

Tough way to start next season and with AU looking much improved with the new offense its going to be a tough way to end the season.. Great test for the Sabanator's new team in 2008..
RTR :) :) :)
