I was afraid of that. Certainly his health is the #1 issue. I just hate that is took him as long as it did to find his position at Bama. In my mind he was one of the highlights of last year, and if he is able, will be for 2008 as well. Get well Zeke!

Do you think he will be ready for the fall Porter? Or will he be a medical redshirt.

My concern is that this seems to be re-occuring, whatever it is, so could it be a career ending issue?

If I said yes or no, it would just be a guess and nothing more.

What exact injury is keeping him out then? (this way I can guess for myself :D )

I can't say for sure, but he had a heart condition that was uncovered last year, so with the precaution that is being taken it makes me think his latest issue is related (or at least they think it may be).

Crapola.

I really thought Knight was the most impressive player we had on defense last year (either him or Gilberry without doubt). He always seemed to make a big and important play - especially against the pass.

Not exactly one I had hoped would be in the attrition group to free up a scholarship for a 2008 signee, but it looks that will be the case.

We gonna be hurtin' at linebacker this Fall. Pretty much a given Harris will start if he can walk and chew gum - and it will probably not be required he do both at the same time either.

Zeke's condition causes a loss of oxygen to the brain, which will cause you to pass out -- and playing at the speed of the UA football team... that's a serious issue. I hope they can get a handle on it. We need him.

WE should all pray that the young man has great health. Although we need him is true it's more important that he live than play a game. I really hope the good lord heals this young man. So that he may live life to its fullest.
