I'll be interested to see if the team has progressed, primarily on offense. Will Bama pass the ball around the perimeter for the majority of the shot clock before running a set? Will this team be capable of scoring? I don't know if I can stand another season of watching the team pass the ball for thirty seconds on each possession. I'm praying for a team that runs... at least a little more than last year.

So far looking good. Really liking Algie Key's game so far, good ball handling and fakes. Releford, Cooper, and Obasahan as expected are the keys to the offense around the perimeter. So far though, 8 of 9 from the field.

What I'm seeing more though so far is a fast break offense and getting points in transition.

Algie Key has been amazing. Obasahan and Releford are doing great, sucks that they have 3 fouls though. Engstrom still looks lost and Randolph struggled early on, but cameback late in the 1st half and got some rebounds and scored 4.

Wow. I'm liking it. Key is going to be a scorer. He can put the ball in the basket. I liked the transitions too, Raider. Early when our guards weren't in foul trouble. I'd say a good start to the season and a high level of play in front of a dozen or so snoozing fans. Win or lose, I think this team already looks to be light years ahead of last year. There hasn't been a shot clock violation yet.

I know these announcers are supposed to be home team analysts...but my goodness. Both of them are just so full of it that it makes me want to puke.

Really liking Key so far though.

Agree with all of this.

Shooting threes looks to be the same as last year...OU sees that, too. Obasahan looked to take a three; not only wasn't there a hand in his face, but the whole OU team backed away to let him shoot. :shake:

Not a bad loss IMO. This was a very good OU squad last year. I know they lost 3 people from that team, but they look like a really good team.

Alabama exceeded my expectations for tonight offensively. They look very competitive, still terrible at rebounding, but I think they look good enough to do get some big wins this year and compete with Kentucky and Florida for the SEC title.
