šŸˆ Will Johnny Football look like Johnny Football?

will Johnny resemble himself in previous games tomorrow or does he get shut down a la Tebow in 2009?

the one thing that makes me feel better about this game is watching him pass the ball. strange low swung release of the ball. it's quick but not very accurate and tends to float on sideline routes sometimes. i would love for our secondary to get 2-3 picks.

also... how do you think their D will stack up against our run game?

Just hard for me to believe that Alabama will have back-to-back bad games on defense. Especially against this type of offense where they have had success in shutting down the QB's run and forcing them too pass... I do think in the future though, A&M will be competing for the West Title, seeing how Arkansas is now down.

Also Alabama's offense versus A&M's defense.. Manziel can't do anything when he's on the sideline.

Skip Bayless has been preaching all week about how Johnny Football is gonna torch us... and one of the analysts today (didnt catch his name) said that "the worst QB in the SEC" almost threw for 400 yards on Bama so its gonna get ugly.

sorry, just irks me when people throw around "us" and "we" and "I"...when they haven't played a down of football this year, not saying you haven't in your life.

I know it is just semantics, but still a pet peeve

I do find this a bit interesting so I'm going to hijack the thread for second.

The first thing that crossed my mind is how often I use "we," especially at work. Every time I tell any of my crew to do something I always use the term we: IE: We need to get this done. And, that's knowing all the time I'm not going to be doing a damn thing.

Now, back to football.

Curious. If you have friends you hang out with and Bama happens to lose do they ever say something like "I saw you guys lose this past weekend. It was a good game..."

At that point, do you say, "I didn't lose, the team lost?"

If they say "Ya'll played a good game" do you say, "I didn't play a good game?"

It just seems like a odd thing to get hung up on, ya know?

oh you are right, my panties ain't in a bunch...saying "we" at work is a different matter, but i do try and use the terms, "BAMA", "them Boy's played good" ....."those kids played hard"........just a pet peeve is all it is

As an Individual contributor at work I rarely used the word we. The reason, I don't like people speaking for me so I generally try not to use the word we.

Now having said that, being a manager, I use the word we a lot more than I did before, I no longer talk about my work, but the teams work.

But I still don't like people speaking for me... Using the word we is still awkward for me.

It's not big deal to me.

Believe you me, I have a long list of pet peeves of my own which we'll just call unique.

It strikes me as a little odd knowing full well most of us couldn't play a snap at the level these kids play—unless we include UT's secondary...lord knows I can tackle as well, if not better, than they've shown this season.

Oh lord, Skip Bayless is the same analysis who picked LSU to destroy us and Auburn to upset us last year. Skip Bayless has no knowledge of the game, he always make these type of outlandish comments.. Watch him anytime on his show, when he's arguing with someone, he's always losing the argument, so he resorts to personal attacks or just raises his voice..Watch him when he had Cris Carter on his show, I think it was a big Tebow Debate (go figure) and Cris was owning him, so he just starts yelling out 'YOU HAVE NO SUPERBOWL RINGS"....

Sometimes talent doesn't translate from print to on the air.

When Skip was just writing and covering the Big12 he did a pretty damn good job. Since then? Perhaps when he's given a couple of days to put something together he's a lot better than being required to do so on a daily basis.

Brando amused me today. He's been saying all year that there wouldn't be a team make it through the SEC without a loss in the regular season. Now, with three games left, he chooses A&M to win this weekend. No basis for the pick, mind you.

I'm guessing he's pretty well left with picking A&M this weekend. If he didn't, he couldn't continue his "no undefeated SEC teams" mantra.
