Pro: Since we were talking about Lowe's and Home Depot over on the other board let me start here for the example. I LOVE the Lowe's app and how they use QR Codes. What do I need to know? Specs? Price? Warranty? It's basically a click. Very convenient.
Here's where I just shake my head...
I was behind a ADT security truck today with a QB code on the back: "For free installation..." and what not. How is anyone supposed to do this? While driving 65, you pull out your phone for a quick screen shot?
It was seeing one on TV a few minutes ago that set this rant off ... I'm supposed to grab a QR code off the TV screen? Yeah, easier, but still. Who sits around with their phone open to the QR reader? Hell, it's just in the last three or four years they've become standard software, right?
This is what happens when it's raining and windy for 24 hours, plus. Igo become more bat shit crazy.
