Linnie Patrick ??? I remember him being heralded along with Hershel Walker as being the 2 great RB signees in I believe it was 1980. I also remember him getting in Coach Bryants doghouse but remember nothing about him afterwards. Any updates ??? Just courious.:15:

Bama-Tee I did a google search on him (as you probably did as well) but didn't come up with much. There was a 2007 thread on TideFans asking the same question, and not much was turned up. He did work far Sanders Trucking and apparently lived in Midfield Alabama in the nineties.

He was quoted as saying, after his career was over, that if he had it to do over again he'd listen to Coach Bryant "With both ears".

I saw him in HS and college. He was a great talent who just never achieved what was predicted for him.
