🏈 What are the most annoying college football traditions?

Aubie the AU mascott that looks like he has advanced Parkinsons and the fact that AU wouldn't let Corso wear that stupid head. I hate all AU traditions for that matter.

PS...completely tired of hearing about those damn trees too. Hate it happened. 99.9999999% of BAMA fans feel the same way. Just shut up about it please.

These are mine, what are yours?

Cowbells ..

Barking ..

Rocky Top ..

Gator chomp ..

Tomahawk chop ..

1. Tomahawk chop... Group from Atlanta too
2. Love the song until it got too much with Tenn.
3. Cowbell...
4. Gator chomp...
5. Barking ...
6. Its a wonder someone hasn't made TP paper for them by now.

Ditto, Eleven! I don't mind the gator chomp or the tomahawk. That at least recognizes the team. Toilet papering...I don't care how cold hearted this sounds, but watching those barners cry because their tradition was killed...That was just sadly comical. How can throwing toilet paper be a tradition?? Well, it must be something significant. My son attends USA. For homecoming, they one up the barn by rolling the whole campus. That's another ridiculous tradition.

Can't stand that "WHOOOOOOO" after the UT band says "good ole Rocky Top". As for Auburn, I just wish they would make up their mind if they are War Eagles or Tigers. LOL.

But the TP at Toomers is really the icing, I mean TPing your own yard? :icon_scratch:

Littering with asswipe

That stupid Rocky Top song and every other stupid tradition the beacon on the hill has

The we just the beat the hell out of you song we do after wins

The only time I really partake in the song is after a rivalry game, or a really big game. For example, last year's LSU and Georgia games. Notre Dame deserved it too :)

It embarrasses me when folks sing it after games like Georgia State or Western Carolina or whoever.

Bull shit. Its tradition. I'll sing it at the top of my lungs whether we win by 1 or 50, no matter the opponent.

Auburn's version of Rammer Jammer.

LSU fans' whining after they lose a game

Whoever the hell plays 7th army nation

The rolling of Toomers/Wires now.

The whining of those pathetic dead trees from Auburn fans.

Are the Barners still doing the "All I do is win" song after their team comes out of the tunnel? It would really be something if they were.

The constant "We want Bama" chant when any team has any sort of success

Rocky Top

LSU's 2nd down cheer when their on offense

Also, sandstorm at William-Brice can get a bit annoying, but its fun to dance to.

Cowbells

LSU fans complaining about us being a "buncha cheetahs" after each loss to Bama.

"Tigah bait"

Rolling your own place after a win.

Rocky Top or anything else to do with the viles.

The tomahawk chop gets old after about 2.5 quarters.....

What is that stupid song that TAMU plays after touchdowns?

SOOOOWEEEEE PIG!

Wait, Auburn has a version of Rammer Jammer?

And LSU fans whining after a loss better continue to be a tradition! (rather, the losing part :twothumbs:)

That is a good point, though: beating someone by 50 to me seems more like "beating the hell out of" an opponent, as opposed to beating by a few points (like LSU last year). So technically it would make even more sense to sing it at those blowout games, like Georgia State and Western Carolina.

Or I could just sing it all the time. It's pretty damn fun to sing and I should enjoy all the wins while I can!! I have an existential crisis to ponder, it would seem!

I am entertained by all the people who talk about it being "classless" and "outdated" .. Please. Go home. Check yourselves. Me personally, I love belting it out the most after beating a tough opponent. We had the best Rammer Jammer after the Georgia game last year at the Alabama bar in D.C., I wish someone had filmed it. I had a Georgia fan sitting at the table next to me and man we laid into her!!! I think we sang it out 10 times.
