🏈 What about this possible finish?

Who else is taking off for NSD? Pretty big class so I'm excited for it to finally get here. Hope someone around the nation does a signing day girl again, just better be hot in the face this time

And really, I think most of them are starting to sound like they're locks with the exception of Vanderdoes, and Conner. You might put Foster in there as well, but with him being on campus this weekend that makes me think that he considers Tuscaloosa his new home.

What are the odds that we have to turn some of these guys away? We also have that JUCO DT that hasn't been mentioned...

Might be tought to keep them all. If any one can get it done it's Saban. This is going to be really tricky.

What a class this could be.

One gray shirt so far, and one back counter. We could squeeze in 5 of the 6 Porter listed and hit the signing limit. With Kamara a seeming lock for us, Arkansas will press Tenpenny hard to flip.

Stupid question, but how does some schools sign over 25 commits? Is there consequences for doing so?

If a kid enrolls in January, per NCAA rule, he can count toward the last class (if there is room) or the next one. If he counts in the last class he is called a "back counter".

Texas A&M signed only 17 for their 2012 class, so could sign up to 33 provided they could find 8 players to enroll in January.

I've often wondered about this. From my knowledge (and I could be wrong) you've always been allowed to sign up to 25 recruits per year, plus the amount of back-counters counting towards the previous class to make the previous class's limit of 25...so, I'm not sure why there was even a rule made by the SEC and/or what it was supposed to prevent. Maybe I'm just ignorant (I know my wife thinks so!:bluebiggrin:) or maybe I'm just missing something?
