Thousand Island dressing?
That's a "poor man's version?" Homemade 1000 Island, the majority of the time, is someone whipping up Ketchup and Mayo?

I don't use that dressing on a salad.

But, I have a friend who makes the Big Mac sauce for his grandkids. His version has White Wine Vinegar, sweet relish, several spices like garlic and paprika, along with a few other things.

I have my doubts the sauce they serve at McD's is made the same way as his.

If McD's has those...news to me.

The pie itself? (y) (y)

BUT ... better places to get it, I know. Publix has them in their deli.

I have had one of those Pillsbury strudels that was strawberries and cream cheese.
The McDonald's in Tuscaloosa and Northport have them. You're missing out!

They probably do here as well. It's been a LONG time since I've been to McDonald's. The pie I mentioned earlier was brought, with breakfast, to a group of us two years ago. I chose the Apple pie and left the rest be.
