Does anyone know why Nebraska and Illinois are being allowed to play this week? All of the other games involve Hawaii or Hawaii opponents, which is as it should be because they are allowed to play a 13 game schedule or take a second bye week. This gives Nebraska and Illinois two bye weeks.

It was originally scheduled to be played overseas; Ireland I believe.

When I read this I literally thought this week, not the week before Labor Day weekend.

Thanks, I had forgotten about that. Still surprised they were allowed to keep that date. Big 10 scheduling should have changed that.
Eyeballs. Hell, they've got games the next weekend at 9AM ET just to get viewers.

If I'm not mistaken the B1G schedule was released before this cancellation was announced. Only by a matter of days, but still.
