The slow filling of the '18 class? Is it because of the massive turnover in Coaching? or the new guys taking a minute to really evaluate what they need and what is available? Would like a higher ramking class for '18 than the slacker classes of the last few years.... but, wondering about the slow start (if not for the 3 forward counters it would be a slow day at the Bama Commitment center.

Anyone have insight into who will graduate the Spring or Summer? (just wondering because of the ease of transfer once one has the degree in hand).

The staff is being selective so far with an emphasis on a few position groups--DL and then CB/S. Look for them to fill in from there. (contd below next quote)

Higher ranking? Slacker classes? Did you forget the :sarcasm: emoji?

There's a good chance this next class will not end up as the top ranked class in the nation. It's a "fill needs" that doesn't garner stars like classes heavily filled with QB's, RB's, etc. There's a TON of young, offensive talent on campus this spring.

That said, I don't see much of a reason to get too heavily involved in looking at the numbers for Feb., '18's class. There's far, far too long between then and now.

As previously stated a few times, Falkins is the only graduate (Winter, '16) to keep an eye out on right now going into spring. Averett graduated as well but we're not expecting another Mo situation with AA.

There are a handful close to graduation in the spring but without someone asking them "how many credit hours do you have towards your degree" it's an impossible question to answer. I'll bet you money if you had a reporter start that line of questioning, Puriton would put a stop to it. Immediately. (As if there's enough time for them to delve into those questions as it is.)

As bad as the graduation/draft class cleared talent and experience from this year's team, I believe that this next class graduation/draft may be worse.
OC - Gone; Almost the entire DB (Safeties, CB, along with Star and Money) mostly gone. LB's ...only ones left will be those who will get PT this year. DL, the more than this year's experience will be gone, (Hand, Frazier and Payne)
Trust in the process, but fear the graduation

Has there been any speculation that Terrell Hall eventually settles at DE in the mold of Jon Allen and Deshawn Hand? He seems to have a frame that can easily carry the 280 lbs or so typical at that position.
