As of this week, one of their starting OL is out for at least a month due to a strained, or sprained, MCL. It happens to be their left tackle Chris Faulk.

On top of that their right tackle, Alex Hurst, is dealing with a lingering ankle injury.

If you start looking at the defensive side of the ball you see two cornerbacks just getting into the collegiate game along with their starting safety, Craig Loston, unable to go full speed due to an injury he's dealing with.

Washington isn't known for defense. But, they do have some returning talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Right now, Vegas has LSU beating Washington by at least 23 points.

What say you?

Do you think LSU wins by at least 23 points? Or, do you think Washington keeps it closer?

Use your BamaBucks and let your opinion known.

Right now, I'm looking more and more at Washington.

Other games to call on our Pick 'Em at the top of the page.

i think washington keeps it closer and LSU does a little bit of a pitch and roll as the plane is crashing this season. LSU still wins, but it may be a nail-biter.

they got processed in the NCG. it's just that no one has seen the aftermath yet. i expect a complete downgrade of the entire program within 3 years.

Washington barely beat SD State 21-12 and that was with three TO by the Aztecs. They essentially matched them in yards and scoring with the exception of the defensive fumble return for a TD. I think LSU covers, probably in the 34-7 zip code.

I looked at this the other day. Justin Wilcox used to be the DC at UT and he's had some experience seeing what LSU brings. He's now the DC at Washington.

I'm with Washington.

Can't go all in though! :shake:

and Zach isn't the most mobile QB from what I've heard/read - having a young LT could make it a very interesting game.

Did you see the CB coming off the RT and just laying him out? N. Texas saying, "welcome to D1 play." (chalk that up to things I thought I'd never say.)

LSU didn't exactly blow N Texas off the map last weekend. Only 27, and one LSU TD was on a punt return. The jury is still out on Mettenburg. With OL issues for LSU, I am strongly considering Huskies + 23.

I'm hoping Washington does something to expose LSU, maybe in their secondary or Mettenburger making bad reads and turns the ball over, but I just don't see it. Yeah LSU didn't blow North Texas out the way they should have but that's their style of offense, they're really not the explosive type. LSU by 20+

yup, I can't wait to see our guys hit him :)

what I've read, LSU is gonna shift around a few guys to get the best guys on the OL.

They've got a few on their roster who have some experience along the line. Dworaczyk, and I'm almost sure I'm not spelling that correctly, is one that comes to mind.

They've got the luxury that the people from Mizzou, as one example, don't realize they are missing. Without thinking of a better phrase, "plug and play" isn't something in their vocabulary in Columbia.
