ROLL TIDE!!

I'm drinking the crap out of it! In fact I'm enjoying every drop of it so far! If I should run out down the road, Oh well I've enjoyed it while I got it. It's way better than the stuff I had a year ago and 10 times better than the stuff a year before that! Get me?

I can't argue with that perspective. We are sitting at #2 in the AP poll, and have dominated 4 out of the 5 teams we've played (including 2 top 10 teams), and have yet to trail in a game all season long. Can the team keep on winning? We shall see. It is a tough road that awaits... but the fans should be able to enjoy the success. Especially after the turmoil we've had to endure over the last 8 years. The best part is, no matter how things turn out this year, this BAMA team is going to get better with more time. We all have reason to be excited.

I agree with your statement porter, but I don't think proclaming us going to a NC game or SECCG 5 games into the season. A lot of football to be played and in the SEC any team can be beat. Just ask the Gators.

I don't see any folks around here doing such... but I'll admit I've missed a lot of posts since the game last night.

I really believe in not drinking that kool-aid. Nick has taken us this far without lying. I will take his advice and when the time comes to chug some kool-aid im breaking out the funnel.

I don't think winning by 11 points is domination, though.

Did you watch the game? UGA was never a threat at any point. We dominated them on the LOS on both sides of the ball. If the officials hadn't taken the 2nd half off, UGA wouldn't have scored more than 17.

Never a threat? Even when they scored the touchdown that put them at 17 points? It was a two possession game at that point with most of the fourth quarter left to play. I have watched the game three times including last night, actually (yeah I know I have nothing to do). We made many mistakes which led to being beat 30 to 10 in the second half. Saw that half of the game just as important as the first--doesn't mean we didn't dominate wholly in the first, but we had ZERO yards in the 3rd quarter...

Anyway, I'm not saying you're wrong we just have different opinions, I think 11 points is not domination.

According to Coach Saban, I had 24 hours to celebrate this victory however I want. According to my clock, I have 1 more hour to hit the koolaid hard!! :D

They got chucks of yardage late in the game when we ere not putting any pressure on Stafford and keeping everyone back deep in coverage. Basically a prevent defense. In the 4th, when BAMA needed to, they put 10 more nails in the coffin. UA would not have changed it's defense strategy and began allowing Stafford to pick up easy yardage in exchange for time to run off if the game was still in doubt.

I don't base the phrase domination on the box score or the final score. I base it on how the game unfolded.

Did you all catch that block in the back which led to the GA run back in the 3rd I believe?

Yes, and it wasn't even questionable. Just one example of the officials taking the 2nd half off.

The officials might of even been a little embarassed with the score which led to that sympathy no-call. Who know's maybe they just missed it all together..
