Verne Lundquist will be the celebrity picker on College GameDay



Earlier this year, Verne Lundquist announced that 2016 would be his last season providing play-by-play during SEC on CBS broadcasts. On Saturday, Lundquist will call what might be his final game at Bryant-Denny Stadium. To commemorate the occasion, he'll be the guest picker on ESPN's "College GameDay."

SEC on CBS could return for the Iron Bowl on Nov. 26, but College GameDay will probably be headed to Columbus for what could be the biggest Ohio State-Michigan game in a decade. So there's a good chance this is the last time this year the two productions will be set in the same city.
