Alright, season to date, Texas has punted 22 times and has allowed 238 return yards for an average of 10.8 yards per return.

What does Javy need to set the NCAA record? 73 yards? Y'all think there is a possibility that Javy could set the record against Texas?

Not that I don't have faith in Javy, but I've noticed most of the year teams have quite frankly avoided kicking it to him, and if they did kick to him they kicked it extremely high so he would have to fair catch. I don't see Texas doing anything different from what we've seen so far IMHO.

That's what I'm thinking too. I hate it for him because he's so close and there's nothing he can do about it when they kick away from him.

http://web1.ncaa.org/mfb/playerDetail.jsp?yr=2009&org=8&player=28 says he has 1733 punt return yards. Believe Welker's number is 1761, which puts it at 29 to break record.

Yeah, that sounds right. I was being a little dyslexic. Either way, I hope he breaks it, I just don't know much about Texas' coverage and punting team.
