But it appears more to me like maybe it's just people with bigger platforms using those platforms to help spread greater awareness while simultaneously encouraging a kid.
The news on bullying is way past worrisome, to say the least as parents and grandparents. No doubt it has always existed in some form but the sheer number of incidents in school among students is really in epidemic proportions. So much so that the culture is now the overwhelming driving force. It's a downright rotten shame that even elementary school has become something far less than these youngsters carefree years.
Yeah, I don't care if it's a publicity stunt or not, this poor kid deserves the attention of anyone to get his mind off the little bastards picking on him. I haven't even watched the video, because I hate seeing a little kid so upset with their life. I'm more than happy seeing folks come out of the woodworks to uplift this kid rather than hearing about the freaking Kardashians, all the Trump bullshit that eats up every minute of every day, or anything else that doesn't mean jack shit in the scheme of our basic lives. I'm with @Sgt. Lincoln Osiris , the kid has to be feeling better than he did, that's the goal, and whatever it takes to hopefully get him feeling more confident. Lord knows we've heard of too many Facebook live suicides due to bullying. I'd rather see this outcome than the ones like that little thirteen year old girl in the recent news.
