People always claim that Nike uses “sweatshops” to make their products. If you compare wages in China, Indonesia and other far East countries to the U.S., the wages are fractional but standard for those countries. That’s why companies use that labor to makes their products. It’s no different from companies moving out of New York or California and moving to Texas or the Southeast to have lower costs.
