Well, whether he said it or not, who in their right mind would want an Auburn graduate in the governor’s mansion anyway? There would be cows grazing on the lawn…

The whole thing started with a message board stir Friday am and Finebaum picked it up and ran. Pretty funny stuff... LMAO that James was/is having to defend himself over it.

lol u know how rumors are, even if it aint true too many done heard it. my damn dad even asked me about it, talkin bout he heard some folks saying it. his exact quote was "well he just didnt wanna be governor did he? talkin about slittin ur own throat..." lmao

Now that Finebaum's on Sirius/XM I've been able to listen to the entire show and not have to wait for the podcast version.

This has been some pretty funny stuff. What a fool James is to no think something like this would get out in this day and age. Sould have kept his aubby mouth shut. :no-no:

The whole thing is hilarious.

What was he thinking. :headscratch:

Once an aubie always an aubie.
I think i'll back that Doctor who syays he won't take any salery.

Honestly, its probably a stupid message board rumor that finebaum ran with, wouldnt be the first time.

I doubt he could actually cut his salary, nor do I see how he could gain anything from saying he would. The people spreading it as well as the people who started this are just making the people who buy into this look like idiots.

I forgot what they call these types of attacks in politics, but unless I see visual evidence, Id vote for the guy just out of spite for the people who do this.

Its been said that Finebaum was told it by someone but it was supposedly a joke that the dude said to some of his supporters or whatever and one of them (most likely a Bama fan) went back and started to tell people. Noone believes he would or would even have the power to do so. But lol at u voting for someone just to 'spite' ppl who 'made up a rumor'. Great reason to vote for someone man.

Seriously, everybody's always talking about the fact of the huge amount of money that is being payed for the annual contract of coach Nick Saban, and that topic goes even back to people's mouth after the great accomplishments he's just achieved at the university of Alabama... Hell, the guy has put this so-frustrated-over-the-years football program back on top, winning the last national championship, stablishing a tradition of excellence for recruiting year in year out, and the level of accomplishment is just amazing with two undefeated seasons in a row, beating Auburn, Tennessee or LSU (like usual tasks) every year since he took the helm... and, excuse me for my language, everybody still cares about the fuckin' figures of his damn contract?? Sorry but here in Europe the spending for team resources (talking about soccer) even overwhelms the figures that the university of Alabama pays for coach Saban, in fact, the infamous Real Madrid soccer team has just signed one new coach for more than $40 millions the next four years and stay sure that the guy don't even get the same amount of power from the institution that coach Nick Saban is credited for at Alabama... and heck, not even talk about the huge spending on buyouts, (contract) cancellations or other financial movements.

In conclusion, $5 annual millions for coach Saban is a total bargain, the guy is all business... don't understand why everybody is so worried about... what the hell, I know why, everybody hate him and the university of Alabama, and gotta love that.

RTR,

I've said it time and again. We don't pay Coach ENOUGH. We may pay him 5 but he brings in 5 times that amount. I don't know the exact number, but if i had to guess, the University makes over 200m a year off of the proceeds from football. (again that's just a guess-timation on my part) So if i as an employee make 500.00 a week but earn my employer 10,000.00 that week...that's money well spent IMO. Even a "Bussinessman" like Jamse should have known that. But hey, that's what you get with that high quality Auburn education. lol

Once again the POWER of Crimson saves us all from ruin. G'luck with that next bridge there buddy. lol
