Nice article about a kid that I'm really rooting for. He has some big shoes to fill and it seems that his attitude is trademark Crimson Tide material.

I got a ton of confidence on Vlachos. Something tough for me to pronounce his name, but no doubt he's going to be quite solid handling duties at center. Like so much the fact that he's the roomate of Greg, and I'm sure there's a special chemistry between them... No worries for me with Vachlos playing center, tough kid and a smart one...

The kid is built like a fire plug and is smart as a whip. I feel quite confident that the Center position is in good hands. I may just call him ALL STATE since I too have problems with his name sometimes.

Virginia Tech’s defense is built on speed.
