It seemed to me to be a loud rocking place.

Is anyone aware of how Coach Saban felt about the Fans last night?

Was he happy with the intensity of the stadium and the Fans?

I wasn't there, Colin, but they looked to be rowdy on television. Let's tell Coach Saban to do what he needs to do to help get the stadium completed as fast as possible and then the crowds will be a lot louder also.

Having an open end doesn't help much with focusing noise onto the field.

Coach Saban was fired up on the sideline a few times and afterwards he thanked the fans for what he had asked for.....noise and support for the team. He got it and mentioned it at the start of his post game interview and at the end.

He knows the team is tired mentally and physically and needs our support to lift them up. I don't think he knows just what support they are going to get Nov 29!!

It was cold but nobody sat on their hands. It got louder when the rain fell so it was a rowdy crowd. That might have been the bourbon in the air?

Hopefully it will continue to be loud every game. I get so tired and frustrated at the blue hairs and fair-weather fans at BDS. They sit on their hands 95% of the time there. The other 5% is at halftime getting their food and drinks. Really pisses me off when they tell me or someone around us to sit down too. Go back home and watch the game if you want to sit down and make zero noise. There needs to be a big change at BDS and it needs to be brought out publicly so it gets some exposure. Glad it was loud last night.

did anyone else see this..

after his interview, they cut to a few shots of players , crowd, then back to him starting to walk off, he turned back and gave a ' thumbs up' I thought to the crowd..

I am very thankful for guys and gals like you all. Folks that will face the traffic and the lines to support our beloved team. To be honest, I enjoy watching the game so much more from my living room!

I don't have to wait to pee, pay seven bucks for a hotdog and chips, or get really pissed off when trying to park. I like going to one or two sporting events a year. Anything more just seems like too much. Man, I sound old.

I was there, my seats are in the corner of the north end zone. After the game, Saban stopped short of the tunnel and acknowledged all the fans to let us know that our support meant something to the players and the coaching staff. We have a coach that knows that all of the little details make a difference. We are fortunate to have him as our coach. I loved it.

He'll think the Stadium was completed!

I know the cold kept a lot of folks near me from making much noise. Many just sat there chattering there teeth and clutching their hot chocolate. Not there there is anything wrong with that... if you were a woman. I think overall, considering the weather, it was a loud atmosphere. It led to a few MSU miscues, and probably led to their first fumble.

I couldn't make it last night, but I'd like to thank those of you who screamed and yelled and made a difference last night. I appreciate you freezing for the cause. :)

Yes I was going to mention this. I was glad to see it, not because I think 'Bama fans deserved a thumbs up from Saban for being 'Bama fans, but because it made me think that hopefully the fans in BDS last night earned it.

Tiger Stadium, even before their latest expansion, never seem to have a problem with this.

But then again a 50- to 55-year-old corndog or coona** tends to act much differently at a ballgame than some of the older, more stoic Bama fans.

OH SNAP!

I was at home watching this one on TV and i noticed how loud it was when ESPN first switched over to the game. It was awesome hearing the roar of the "oh oh ah oh oh" song! The crowd seemed to keep rocking throughout the entire game. now THAT is what I like to hear!

For all of those who were around the old people telling you not to be so loud...just tell 'em "Hey granny (or grandpa, whichever the case may be) turn your hearing aids off 'cos i ain't gonna stop yelling!" :D

To be fair though, Tiger Stadium only sells out about 3-4 games a year. Alabama on the other hand has BEEN selling out EVERY home game for a long, long time.
