I saw a picture on Rolltide.com of terry grant on the bench..talkin to one of the coaches and he looked like he was about to cry....i just feel sorry for him..but im sure saban has a reason of why he is not playin.

I thought we could have used his speed to work the corners...but I am not a coach.

Yeah, atleast use him for a WR..He is used on Special Teams.I guess its just sad seein him be so succesful last year to not even seeing him much this year.

Hey, Im sure he's getting a fair shake on the practice field. I don't see Coach Saban playing favorites

Grant just needs to stay positive and be ready when opportunity comes his way.

I like the problem of being four deep at running back.

My last image of Grant was of him WHIFFING a block and JPW getting sacked in the Arky game. I haven't seen Grant on offense sense.

REVERSE !!!

I would love to see Grant playing in the slot w/ some misdirection thrown in there now and then. Reverse! Bet it would work...

I'm guessing he'll be playing a different position next year. Maybe he should play wide receiver.

I was thinking he might transfer. He's just not as good as some of the other guys.

It's a waste of talent. If he doesn't play at all this year, he should transfer. He'll start and be a star for somebody. Nothing against the coaching staff. They prefer power runners is all.

yeeeeeeees thank you. i was asking my father why in the hell were we not using him on the corners when running inside wasn't working?!

I'm with everyone else here, we love Terry Grant but the bottom line is that he is not a complete back for a Saban team. I think behind closed doors Saban would say he's a great guy but he is too light in the a$$ to block d-ends. He literally gets run over when taking on a pass block even by dbs.

With as many specialty guys we seem to be aquiring at the slot, he's just squeezed out.

You cant put him in to just to run outside because the defense knows he cant run inside. It was like when damn Arvin Richard came into the game, everyone knew where the ball was going.

While it is very true that we have grown to love certain players; it is also very true that Coach Saban is building a different team. You ever had a break up that hurt like hell but you knew it had to be done?
