Tennessee AD: We are not shutting down Alabama rivalry
The ā€œThird Saturday in Octoberā€ is a tradition that stretches back more than a century. But there are some in Tennessee who want the annual rivalry game against Alabama expunged from future schedules.

Volunteers athletic director Dave Hart addressed the East-West crossover game — which modern fans understandably see as a competitive disadvantage — during a presser on Tuesday morning.

As it stands, Tennessee is the only SEC East team that’s forced to play Alabama every season, and the Vols have lost nine straight against the Tide.

It was not that long ago, however, when Alabama would have been the one trying to opt out. Tennessee won 10 of 12 games between 1995 and 2006, during which time the Vols won four division titles, two SEC titles and a national championship.

The teams will actually meet on the third Saturday of October next season, something that’s only happened six times since the SEC realigned in 1992.

Well, that shows a lot of mountain values for them to not cancel the series because they are losers. But, if Roy Adams were still alive, you can bet the series would be eliminated. He called the shots for years and years.

Most of those shots were called in his rather unsanitary and disease laden hot-tub but, that isn't the point. The point is that Tennessee is now officially pitiful. Another point is that many, many, hundreds of young menz who played for Tennessee no longer have an opportunity to enjoy the good life at RoyDog's Party Plaza.

Roy didn't like 'em when they turned twenty, he liked the teen wild boyz. Non-starters were his favorites, because he felt they were more vulnerable, and the Vol's supplied them to him in abundance in return for super booster love.

Is this some facts like the $hit at Penn state or is it rumors. Please if you have facts please report it. Even if you have to do it incognito. I want us to beat the Viles every year but not at that kind of cost. Man up or Lady live and get this $hit reported.

Facts? Report it? Report what? Everyone that was alive and followed SEC football knew that TennStud always had a house full of disadvantaged young men, and not just on game days, from the Tennessee program or high school boys he was plying with cash and gifts and luxuries of many kinds to woo them to play for Tennessee. It wasn't a secret and he didn't hide it and said as much many, many times.

As for it being akin to Penn State, no, he never stated he raped anyone.

I meant to state that Roy Adams is deceased so, it can't be reported now. Someone probably could have reported him though, for any number of things.
