The willingness to play with nothing to lose has seemed to favor Kiffin. Thus, his proclivity to go for it on 4th down. It's incredibly hard to get off the field when these offenses have 4 plays.
3rd down (and 4th down) D is going to be critical. The defense needs negative plays and to be assignment sound. Not getting dinged for a bunch of PI calls on long passes would help.
I don't know if this year's OM offense is better or worse than last year. Not having Elijah Moore or Kenny Yeboah at TE is good for Bama.
Sounds like they run more of a 3-3-5 or 3-3-6 approach (odd front, more dropping 8) compared to the 4-2-5 (even front) they ran last year.
The key to attacking this will be the run game has to work between the tackles, and Bryce has to take open WRs shallow or intermediate and not force the ball deep into coverage.

Yeah... that's why I was saying it wasn't much compared to last year... like comparing our offense today to last year, we are who we are today, what we had last year is damn near impossible to maintain by the amount of talent that we had.
I have no idea if Corral really posted this over the weekend as alleged, but several UA players seem to think it’s legit which is all that matters. eheh
I am in the same boat. Probably best because I can't stand watching games where defenses struggle. Would love to turn on late Saturday and see the Bama D showed out!!!!

Alabama decides enough is enough and comes out roaring with a dominant effort to show that it really and truly is the No. 1 team in the country, or this is a firefight of epic proportions that comes down to who has the ball last.
Can Corral pull a Johnny Manziel and take the Heisman with a historic performance with the sports world watching?
Or will this be the moment that Bryce Young sets the tone for the rest of the season for both the Heisman and Alabama?
Both quarterbacks will be great, both offenses will be great, but one defense will come through when it needs to.
