🏈 Spring Practice 2026: Reports and Update

Was there a scrimmage/game Saturday? I've not found anything on it in the usual places I look.....

Another note.

It's been an interesting spring for me just watching where fans attentions have been spent. When spring camp kicked off for football everyone is watching basketball. Now that their season is over and we moved to scrimmage #2 for football, people are watching the softball and baseball teams in national competition.

Here we are going into A-day weekend and thankfully they thought ahead and scheduled the baseball game at 4. They are hosting Arkansas (who should remain in the top 25 this week.) Auburn is at noon Saturday...in West Opelika for softball.

My attention will be divided.

So as Bama gears up for this Saturday's A-Day game. Who will be going and @doemasters will you be taking photos? I know it's not being televised, so someone here should give us a report on what you saw and like/dislike?

It was Lloyd, Fields, DeGatty, Carroll, and James.

I find it interesting.
Usually..... there here are all kind of stories on al. Com. Big presser from coach. A lot to do ( and most about nothing).
No pictures..... Nothing.....Stats.....Nothing....
Attendance...... Nothing!!! Bbb

Nothing in usual places anyway.
Never remember it being as low key except last year. When it was nothing!!!!!!

I usually go. But had camping trip in Tennessee.... that didn't even happen

I found it wierd there was so little made of it.

Even Alabama web site had.... nothing

The media was allowed in this morning for practice. I would imagine we'll see pics/videos being released throughout the day.

Same group again today. Saturday may "cement" who we are watching in game one.

As if this is news. The OL is an area of concern for the fall; rushing and passing protections. Just scrolling through a few messages and pass pro has come up twice.

Just seems so low key heading up to Aday

The main stream guys are locked out. They're left with bits and pieces and have been forced to create stories from morsels. The roster is a bit of a puzzle though it's not 1000 pieces; more like 25 big ones. In other words, it's not to hard to get the big picture from where I'm sitting.

AND ...

When you have three other programs who are playing at high levels? It draws attention away from football practices. I'd rather "worry" about Lebron's slump than an offensive line that won't see the field for months.
