In light of our conversation about FS1 they make a point here about advertising and GameDay I hadn't considered before—specifically this bolded part.
From the time that ESPN first pitched Home Depot and signed them in 2003, ā€œCollege GameDayā€ has evolved from an ad buy into a full-fledged marketing platform, and one of the few truly national sponsorships available in the fragmented college space.
