🏈 So who are the leaves early for the draft?

FWIW, I know there are those that could leave early & most certainly be drafted.

However, following CNS philosophy of only leaving early for 1st round money who do you think will probably go early?

Nobody stands out to me. Granted there is the typical talk of Cyrus & Ha-Ha, I just think they could get that much better staying like Mosely, Hightower, & Barron.

Did Barron not project the same (I am asking, not stating)? Barron was clearly much better finishing out his senior season. Perhaps the NFL roster needs were different when Barron was a junior as compared to Ha-Ha; I truly don't know.

I don't recall.

Barron's injury had a lot to do with his decision...at least, that's what I recall.

I think Hubbard goes. As much as he could really use another year, his measurables are just too desirable. I'm getting a strange feeling that Ha Ha just might stay. Don't know why, just got a feeling. CK is gone.

Cyrus and HaHa are gone, we can go ahead and get ready for that. Hubbard has already graduated and flirting with going last year so yeah hes gone too tho I think he'll jump tho I think another year would benefit him. Why the hell would Dickson leave? Pagan will probably go and NFL teams are gonna fall in love with him I think.

Barron was NOT a projected first round pick after his Jr. year. That was his worst year - I think he was playing hurt for part of it - and a lot of what he brought to the table as a So and Sr was absent. He would have been a mid round pick had he left that year. But, Barron and Dix are different cases. Barron was never a dominating athlete like Dix is. He was known for being a heady, fundamentally sound, defensive leader type. The poor year really hurt him more because of that. Dix is way more athletic but not the leader type that Barron was. I think Dix probably should go if he gets a first round grade. Unless he has off field reasons to stay.

I realize Barron was hurt at the end of his junior season. AU beared the first fruits of his injury. :icon_confused:

To say that he wasn't as dominating as Dix, ever? I don't buy that at all. Barron was an absolute beast by his senior season & I haven't seen as much as a dominating presence as from Dix. He is good but has been caught w/ his pants down a few times this season; certainly his suspension never helps.

Anywho, I'm primarily discussing early departures, not those graduating out. I have mixed emotions on Cyrus, he is good & I am not the least surprised that he can grade out as a first round. However, it will not surprise me if he stays for reasons beyond the money.
