🏈 So, that's what America wants???

I am floored by some of these bowl games that are being played. Are the offenses really that good or do the defenses just suck that badly? I think it's the latter. So RG3 thinks that game between Baylor and Washington was "one of the most watched games ever"? I guess that means the Fiesta Bowl and Orange Bowl out-rated some Super Bowls. I am sorry but this isn't good football on display. If I wanted to see games like this I would pick up a controller to my PS3.

Bring on some real defenses and teams that still know how to play offense!

I find these games completely boring. It takes the fun out of scoring...It's like...well our defenses are so bad we're going to score about 10 more times this game. How is that fun to watch? I started watching the game last night and quit about half-way trough the 2nd when it was obvious that nobody knew what the word "coverage" meant. Do they just wing it on defense or do they actually have plays? Call me old fashioned, but I like the 24-17 games much more than the 71-42 games.

These defenses are TERRIBLE. I think Stanford's wasnt that bad considering the athletes they are able to get but they still werent what anyone in the SEC would consider a "good" defense.

Clemson put on possibly the worst defensive performance I have seen all year. WV's defense was almost as bad. I turned it off at halftime. Missed tackles, blown coverages, misalignments, and yes, it looked like Clemson ran the same defensive play for most of what I saw. It was painful to watch, just plain sloppy.

Maybe LSU and Bama have cornered the market on defensive players and everyone else doesnt have any? :)
