So it seems maybe we are not the only team having off the field issues this off season....seems Georgia is having a tough time as well, maybe tougher. Also take a look at the comments below the article...Seems fans are having a problem with the way these players punishments are being handled and are upset with the staff.

I think Richt is a good coach but he has discipline problems too. I read either on ESPN or in this article that one of his players got a DUI and only got a one game suspension for the year. That is just a load of crap. One game? That is taking it easy on them. Then another for underage drinking and he got 3 games....a little backwards dont you think?

There isn't any way to judge that situation because you don't know if the underage drinker had been skating a thin line to begin with...

This is true but one game for a DUI?? Isnt that taking it easy on him? I guess I am going into mom mode here and thinking how I would punish my own. I just though one game was a very easy punishment.

Without knowing the particulars, it's hard to say. When JPW received his DUI there wasn't much public discipline, but his parents took his SUV away for the entire fall semester.
