Just led USF on a clutch 4th quarter drive to put them ahead of Georgia Tech 42-38 where he scored the go-ahead 19-yard touchdown run. Currently he is 20-for-30 for 198 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT and 81 yards rushing and a TD. Looks like he's finally found where he fits in. Looks poised, confident and pretty consistent.

And as I type this he converts a 4th down, which will probably ice it if they managed to score (on the 5 yard line now).

I watched the game. Blake looked great. Im happy for the kid. He was accurate and used his wheels on the option ver6 well. I sent him a message on Instagram and told him I was happy for him and his family. He messaged me back and thanked me for my kind words. He seems like a nice kid.

They certainly covered in detail his travels around America looking for a starting job. Along the way, he sounds like he matured a little. It was interesting to hear the conversation between Strong and Blake and his wife at dinner. You're thought of as a quitter. "Coach I don't want to be guaranteed a starting job I just want to compete." Maybe it's true, "If you live long enough you do get smarter."
