SEC school complains about Tide Web cam (AP)

SEC spokesman Charles Bloom said league Commissioner Mike Slive contacted Crimson Tide athletic director Mal Moore Thursday morning after another member school...

They sad part of it all to me is the SEC office actually took it seriously...and not only that made it all public.

I find it ironic that this is such a big deal when girls in short skirts are an integral part of EVERY school's football games.

I'm just going to go ahead and assume it was auburn that complained about it since they are the only SEC school that I can imagine would care to be viewing our Fax Cam... and it just sounds like an auburn thing to do...

Wasn't Jackie Sherril the one who claimed Auburn put helium in the balls the punter used? If so the pattern says Croom, Sherril, and whoever squealed on Cam leads me to believe your friends in Stark Vegas are to blame.

Shall we all complain now about the young men wearing short pants and playing basketball over at coleman?:lance:

I've been in marketing for nearly 20 years and the "Fax Cam with appearances by the girl in short skirt" is one of the most brilliant grass roots marketing moves I've ever seen. Even better that another school complained an the SEC bit. You couldn't ask for better results. Bravo.

It seems some schools in the SEC are turning into the very thing I tell my 6 yr old son and 8 yr old daughter not to be and that is a tattle tale. If I had to guess I'd say it was either Miss St or Auburn. If Fat Phil was still at Tenn then there wouldn't be any argument which school it was.

Someone calling and complaining is bad enough, but not even remotely as bad as Mike Slive actually giving whomever it was the time of day and then turning around and calling UA to echo it. That's just pitiful...
