Who wins it? Does Urban's leave of absence (combined with the loss of his defensive coordinator and star QB) mean there will be a new representative in Atlanta?

If I had to make a pick right now, I'd say the Vols are the front-runner.

Assuming you are right...

That's a team winning the east with an 8-4 record. Nine wins at the most for UT next year.

The transition from Spurrier to Zook resulted in two games a year added to the loss column. Realistically, unless Addazio is a total idiot, Florida should have a 10 win season next year.

So......your saying that Florida gets less than ten wins next season?

Georgia looked awfully good last night. Finding a qb at least as good as the one they had shouldn't be difficult.

The SEC eastwill be a scramble next year. I don't see Vandy having any chance, and UK would be a bit of a long shot, but all the others will be tough. Garcia will be the best of the returning qbs in the east, and USCe was pretty good this past year.

gotta go with the Dawgs too. The schedule is more favorable for them, for one thing. They had a pretty young team, and even more, an inexperienced team. QB is a big issue that, if resolved, could convert them to a 10 win team pretty quick. I"m not saying UGA is going to coast: They might win the east with a 9-3 mark, via tie breakers. Florida won't fall below 2/3. I think it's safe to assume Vandy will be last again, and Kentucky/South Carolina will fill in the middle.

It's actually a pretty easy formula. Has any division in major college football, conference alignment era, had a more predictable bottom two or three every year? Maybe the Big 12 South?

I see Fla. being a middle of the road team, Lame Kitten will get the Vols put on Probation for who knows what...lol and I see Georgia playing in the dome Next year.

I hope it is Georgia. If it is UT or UF....that would mean we have to beat them twice in the same year in order to win the SEC. It would be fun kicking UT's butt twice in the same year, but I would still rather face UGA.

I think UF will still win the east. Not undefeated, but they'll still win out. UGA still got some things to work out. UT and Kiffin will shoot themselves in the foot several times next season...I'm sure of it.
