Long overdue! (Wait, I have a cramp in my finger before I can finish typing) This is an old trick that has been happening for decades. Like @Rsedge72 said, “they’re gonna have a fit proving it!!!”
Well. If they just get up n run off n come back in next play. If you go down n crew has to come out n help. Should be outta game for XX minutes. Or team take to
Spoiler: This isn't really gonna stop anything, other than, staff members overtly telling guys to lay down. Teams like Tennessee and Ole Miss, who have this shit built into their strategy, will just use other methods to get it done.

A decade ago we had a lot of people criticizing comments made by Saban about how the offenses were evolving and how the speed would lead to more injuries on defense.
That was scoffed at...
And now we have defenses faking injuries against high speed offenses.

Can anyone even imagine Nick Saban condoning this behavior? I wonder what he would do if a coach explicitly told a player(oh I don’t know, say right at the sideline?) to do that to avoid a penalty? That was some of the most embarrassing shit I have ever seen from Bama.

Saban got mad at players who were legitimately hurt and wouldn't get off the field if they were able... He told them that it was a sign of weakness to lay there.
