🏈 Saban's postgame press conference after Tennessee win (and other odds and ends added)...

Sounds like Heupel could use a good long cry on the way home tonight…

Did he forget abut last year? Maybe he forgot the first half? As my big brother would tell me when I starter to cry! He would hold his hand out to me in a cup shape! Tell me to cry him a hand full of tears!

It would be one thing if he had an actual gripe like Bama did last year. The game was called really well overall, IMO. Regardless, just as I said when Bama got f'd last year in Knoxville... you have to be good enough to overcome poor officiating. They were not, and he comes off like an enormous bitch with that reaction to the question after his team lost by 14.

Probably because he is and has been tainted by the Vile Orange in Knoxville. Losers make excuses. Last year I was like how did we even have a chance to win with 15 penatlies. Also we did not deserve to win giving up 52 points.

I say the same thing about giving up 34. The Viles did not deserve to win if this team scored 34 points on them. Viles and almost all teams not called Bama make excuses after a loss. Bama players, coaches and program go back to work. Bama wins and still feels like a loss. The Bama standard is just different. Heupel keep being an enabler for the Viles so they keep making excuses instead of looking in the mirror....

Well, the officials did screw him by allowing him to make 2 of the stupidest f’ing decisions of all time!

In the last couple of years, data points have proven to me that you can tell a lot about the integrity of coaches by whether or not they use the fake injury bullshit during games. Example, Lane Kiffin. See also: Josh Heupel.

They really need to find a way to penalize (and I mean bust their ass) when a team does this. It’s the epitome of chickenshit!

IMO, best way to handle it is if a guy goes down on any offensive or defensive series, force the "injured" player to sit out until there is a change of possession (or his team has to use a timeout to keep him in).

Indeed this is a mindset and speaks to their core values. There is a message this sends to your team also about the other team handing it to you and you can't handle it w/o cheating. Seems like it reinforces you are getting beaten/dominatied. Call a time out to talk but do not fake an injury.
