This is not 2009's team, but how could it be? He got outcoached on Saturday, but he is still the best coach, recruiter, and leader in the nation. Spurrier got lucky, and caught us on a bad day.

I agree. I think people need to settle down with all the doom and gloom nonsense. Saturday was a perfect storm in USC's favor and we got manhandled at the LOS. Even the best teams can have a bad game and even lose if they don't bring IT every week. I really think this game is going to open some eyes. We need to forget about the NCG - at least for now - and laser focus on the SECCG. Every game needs to be a statement game along the way, too. Bring it!! We now have something to prove!

I wouldn't say that Spurrier got lucky, they flat outplayed us. Yes, there were some amazing passes that 99% of the time we would have broken up and sure his team played the best game of his Carolina tenure. However, we just flat out got beat Saturday. Let's see what this team is made of and how our boys respond from here on out. We still have the West and SEC to win!
here it is.... "it's drinking the kool-aid, thinking that just because they say it on ESPN, it's so. reading the newspapers all week, just because you beat FL 31-6 people start talking about you being the best team in the country. we're not the best team in the country. we're not the best team in the country. we had the best team in the country last year and we proved it. this team hasn't proved ****. excuse my language. that's how i feel about it. i'm really upset that i used bad language, i'm sorry, i'm sure i'll get some letters and emails on that and i should."
