šŸˆ Saban calls LSU’s offense the ā€˜most explosive’ Alabama will have faced

they certainly have better receivers overall than A&M and have a much better running game from the RBs.

manziel single-handedly accounted for most of the A&M offense so i understand what Saban is getting at. Beckhma is just about non-coverable... suprisingly lsu has done little with their receiving corps advantage this year.

i am surprised that they haven't done better on offense overall..

It's my suspicion one of the main reasons they haven't done better comes from some of the decisions Mett has made—even against Furman he's typically been inclined to throw into double coverage.

I've seen two different offenses from LSU this season—one versus UGA and some other opponents and then the way they played against UF.

Was it a conscious decision/choice to rely on their power game versus finesse game? Considering UF's secondary and defense I suspect it was.

To me, the debate of Landry and Beckham vs. Evans and Kennedy is not very clear cut, but I will give LSU a slight edge there. Going four and five deep, I think aTm has a huge edge. Walker, Lebhart, and Holmes are all viable targets, while Hill is LSU's #3 receiver with only 87 yards.

But if we are talking 'most explosive', I'm surprised we're leaving Ole Miss out of the conversation. Bo Wallace has already told us they are better than aTm and since they beat LSU, I gotta think he believes they are better than them too!
