That was part of the "chatter" going around at the time. It had to do with a clause that Jacobs had put in his new contract basically stating they could fire him and not pay him at any time. Considering they were supposedly offering a "guaranteed" contract it didn't quite fit. There were issues revolving around Tubs taking another job and how that would effect Muschamp. There were also issues about the possibility of Muschamp leaving and how that would effect his contract in terms of a buyout. (he didn't want one but one was thrown it.)

Muschamp had a few things to say about the contract ordeal, but very little of that was reported widely.

There was chatter about a ticket ordeal as well.

I know that Muschamp got into it with a few of the other staff members regarding the way they were coaching. In a manner of speaking, it was a lot like what Franklin just dealt with.
