I'm on the fence here when it comes to injury announcements. I remember a few years ago Saban floating the idea that the NCAA should consider having an injury report like the NFL. There's a part of me that likes that idea.In this case, what I've noticed is what his mom posted here about the injury isn't any different than what Saban's said about Reichard. He mentioned a hip flexor, said he was questionable, and it was something they'd take their time with to make sure he was "right" before he's back in action. The only difference here is she mentioned the doctor by name and mentioned bleeding around tissue while confirming everything Saban has said.
