I just read on ESPN that Sam Bradford the starting QB for the Rams is out for the year after suffering a torn ALC in last nights per season game. This is the same knee he had surgery on at mid season last year.

Peter King had this to say in MMQB. And they drafted Gilbert (SMU QB) in the 6th round, they Texas QB who came in after Colt McCoy went down.

By the end of this season, Bradford would have started 49 NFL games and sat for 31 of them, and made $65 million in the process; his was the last silly rookie contract before the new CBA made rookie salaries rich but not kooky. Regardless of the reasons for missing those 31 games, St. Louis will have to look at replacing Bradford. That’s the cruel reality of the game, and Bradford’s just 26 years old. When—if—he takes the first snap for the Rams in the 2015 season, it will be 23 months from the time he last played a football game that counted.

With Cassell being named the starter for the Vikes over Bridgewater, it should be interesting to see how they handle the QB situation.

Reports say they are interested in Sanchez (who has had a great preseason with the Eagles, but who is likely too valuable as QB2 for us given the fact that Barkley sits behind him lol).
