That's a tough one to swallow. Ragland is the best backer in the country. The guy is always in the right place, does his job extraordinarily well, and rarely misses. He anchored the best defense in the country. Can't believe he was that many votes out of first.

He is still up for the Bednarik. Hopefully he gets that, he deserves something for his performance. If nothing else, he has already been named an USA Today All American and should be on most of the other AA lists. Henry and Kelly were our other two 1st teamers. A'Shawn was our only 2nd teamer.

I hate this for him... he should take that one home with him, and I feel like SEC bias screwed him. Not to take anything away from Jaylon Smith, but, damn... Ragland stopping the run the way did, being decent in coverage, and most of all, RUNNING the best defense in the land... c'mon man!
